I defently like mine with the breathing hole closed, I hope it doesnt damage the driver, I need to conform before closing it for good. 
 
Can someone else try to see when their bass port is closed and they block the tiny hole if their is an audible tonal change? I think maybe my bass port has gone loss, I dont remember them sound like this. 
 
EDIT: How embarrassing, I just realized I had my bass port opened all the way instead of all the way close. I need to mark where the fully closed port is.

Which, in my understanding, means that HRTFs of different individuals can differ quite audibly and may still be considered as within tolerance of the same DF target corridor.

Try not to close it completely. It's a pretty large driver, and it needs to breathe for optimal performance.

Ah, that explains a lot. 
 
The first line is the closed position, and the "o" is the fully open position.

No no, this is why i was puzzled on why a sudden change in tonality, I had mine running non-stop ever since I recieved them and I must have opened the port all the way so I can let the dynamic driver breath more and open and flex more. All good

Yes they do but I find it way too much. At that position it is all mid bass. I have mine right now set between the fully closed and the 1/4 opened. At that position the bass port actually starts to open, any less the bass port is closed.
 
The bass port metal has a strip carved on it that widens as you open the port more. From what I could see the strip cut starts to be visible when the bass port position set at the position I explained earlier.

My ASG-1 and AS-2 were sent back to Aurisonics 6 weeks ago. Now I am still waiting.
