The GAME amp has about a 36 ohm output impedance.

That would mean that the damping factor on my ES5 would be around 0.5.
How would the game amp then be the choice of amp module for sensitive iem on the HM801??

What is the output impedance on the game amp module?

Maybe they will still sport different amp modules in the 901? Hmm.

It will be a another mistake (the first is TRRS)

The thought of having different interchangeable amp modules each specially designed for a specific purpose is great and it is not a mistake. It is like pairing the dap with different amps for different usage and sound signature.

Any mistake will be its pricing.

That is to say "pay twice for something I already got" !
What I mean , multipurpose DAPs work better. Why should I pay hundreds for a DAP, they pay hundreds again for something that should have been included in the beginning! This is a DAP= Digital Portable  Player. And the majority of people use C/IEM with their portable players, please correct me, If I am wrong

That is why I said any mistake would be the pricing.

Or do you need me to be more explicit?

Why is this not out yet?!
Isn't this slated for release May 2012?
Why is there no updates or news or hype on this new DAP?

It's probably because people are busy trying to get their new DX100 to work properly.

So looking forward to the launch though.
Prefer the physical keys on this compared to the touchscreen on the dx100.
Hopefully, SQ between the 2 is close then I'll be grabbing this without a doubt.

HiFiMan give us an update on the 802! :)

I agree I generally do prefer tactile buttons but the DX100 isn't half bad. Using Power Amp it actually reminds me of my iphone. I still don't think anything can match the Studio Vs buttons though :).

Thats true but an android player isn't really necessary especially when almost everyone, who is able to afford the dx100, already has an iphone or android mobile phone.
Moreover, android doesn't add any value in terms of music playback.

However, if the 802 turns out to be a disappointment, dx100 will be my next DAP
