The UI DEMO is only a DEMO. We did not put equalizer in only because it is a demo. We will have a equalizer.

Well, it's funny you should mention that, because I'm finding the DX100 can sound a little cold at times with my Miracles. The DX100 does sound excellent in many other areas of it's presentation, though.
I've never heard the 801 in any of its incarnations but I know it is considered to sound quite lush and 'analogue' in character.
The Miracles are total chameleons so I'm curious to try SE-5 and MG6Pro wit the DX100
It's also very important how you pair players with phones. 801 is very good for IEMs with bright sound or airy treble because of its full and lush sound. 801 + Game is truly one of the best system I have heard for sensitive IEMs.
Forgive me if this has already been posted (I've been mostly focusing on the DX100 threads, lately), but I've not noticed this English link being posted in this thread, so here goes:![]()

I'm actually pretty excited about this DAP. I love my HM-601 Slim but I'm wanting something with more power. I was leaning towards the DX100 but this announcement has put those plans on hold. I just wish we had something more concrete as far as release date/pricing go. I'm impatient as all hell....
The Balanced amp card for the HM-801 is actually much more powerful than the DX100. It delivers 440mW and the DX100 is "only" 245mW. There is also a single ended power amp (blue PCB) which is supplied with newer HM-801 units, but I haven't seen any spec's for it yet.
Not sure if this was replied to yet, but the 440mW would be the balanced output, which is essentially twice the signal = twice the power. When the signal balances itself out, it halves itself, halving the 440mW figure to 220mW figure, making it less powerful than the DX100 at 245mW.
Interesting, I would not want it any less powerful then 220mW. The Dx100 is powerful so 220mW aint that much lower so now I am wondering how much power will the new STOCK Hifiman will have?
