Hey guys, so I was hoping to get some suggestions on which headphones to buy.

I'm looking for over the head ones (not in ear) that are portable (for car rides, at school, walking around, etc) and my budget is probably around 125-200 bucks, the cheaper the better, but of course quality is key.

I've had the Audio Technica ATH-ES7's, but their lack of bass is starting to get at me (I like more bass than they offer)

I listen to all sorts of genres: metal, rock, alternative, dubstep, trance, drum & bass, some hiphop/rap/r&b.

Could anyone recommend a good pair? Looks is also somewhat a feature as these are for public use :D

If you are style conscious, get the Audio Technica ESW9.

If you are gonna be rough on your gear and want ruggedness, get the Sennheiser HD25-II (go for the Adidas limited edition if want to add some style)

M50s are solid choice as well, can't go wrong with them.

There are too many great choices so read up on the multi-headphone review thread somewhere between the 1st and 2nd page.

get the hd-25-ii.  i recently purchased them for myself after buying the m50s.  i thought the m50s were a tad big for portable use. the hd25s are great for portability...and the velour pads eel very comfy

I really like the m50's, and I've read good things about them, but a lot of people say they are a bit big and they also aren't categorized as "portable."

I've never seen these in person, are they really that big?  Like can you just live it out or are they THAT big?

EDIT::

So I think I'm close to getting the M50's, BUT any other suggestions are GLADLY welcomed! (I still wanna know if they're too big to be portable haha)

So which one do I get?? lol
