ok first off this IS my first post, but i have been lurking for a while now and have been doing my homework. now it has come time for me to finally ditch the skullcandys for a good set. as of now i have been looking at a set of audio technica ath-m50s and ultrasone hfi-780, but any other reccomendations will be considered.
pretty much I need something to fit this bill
Over the ear, as i enjoy the way they feel and the isolation
Closed back
they can fold id just prefer not in the center
comfortable, as i will wear them while studying etc. ( 7 and 3/8 hat if it matters)
and id like to try and keep the price under about 200, im flexible but being a broke college kid sucks
and i know it matters, i listen to alot of alternitave rock, indie rock, hip hop, dubstep etc.
so with all that in consideration would either of the two that i have picked out work well for me or should i look for something else?

Thanks for the reply, im liking the beyerdynamic dt770's a bit, just curious how well they, and all the others hold up as this will be a long term investment.

Can you run those Beyers well with no amp? If you got a guitar center near you go there cause they have the M50 and some Beyers and you cant listen to them but they will take them out of the box and see how they feel
