Brand new pair of Shure SE535's arrived today, ordered directly from Amazon.co.uk for £290. I'm guessing when I ordered them from the US the last time it was basically taking the £50 VAT off the item - item also came in the newer and less nice packaging - I'll stick everything in the metal box I've still got in the cupboard methinks!

/* Note to self, do not loose on buses, trains, planes, or anywhere - that is all */

lol :)

Hey.... im new to head-fi and i was wondering if you guys can help me out abit?
im also currently buying shure se535 from ebay.
I have 2 choices Item number:330631969811 or Item number 120741484249
Can you guys tell me which one seems more of a scam??
They are both abt USD$425 with free shipping
Its my first time buying high-end earphones and i would hope not to be scammed >.<
They currently sell for about USD$572 in a legit earphone retail store and thats quite a large difference.

i would say the clears would be a little harder to fake, verses say the bronze, silver or reds. becuase you can actually see the internals in the clears and you can compare real clears to fake clears easier to know one way or another
