1 - would it pair well with Zeus XR ? how does it sound and how does it affect Zeus ?
2 - is it a definite improvement over PW audio no5 ?
I don't have Zeus, and my good man @Deezel177 has already answered the bulk of your questions (thanks!) I'll just add the following in summation bcos I've spent only about 15 hours with Eos so far.

Eos - for note cleanness, separation, imaging, clarity and transparency. I like Eos for percussion and brass instruments.

No.5 - for note weight, timbre, naturalness and smoothness. I like No.5 for vocals, pianos, strings and guitars.

Can I ask what is this cable? And how does Spiral Ears sound with standard cable?
Pernel was a Hungarian cable and enamel ware factory.
Until 1945, a high-purity enamelled phone cord (OFC Litz) was produced, with this cable left to a friend with two bounds. I used 2x110 wires per page.
I swirled the 110 wires, then rolled it over with teflon tape, then packed all the cables and rolled over with a teflon tape. Then she got a waxed shoe lace. The exact story of this cable ... soft and organic sound

I did not ask for stock cable from Gregorz, but there is a 64audio stock cable home here ...
She is very nice sound with it.

And: SE5 ultimate gives a very accurate sound with Ares II, but the Forza OCC Litz cable gives me more organic sound.

I have only found a comparison of SA-50 with Fibae 2 here:

The SA-50 has all the bass impact of the FIBAE 2 but brings it with more clarity and refinement. In fact clarity is a staple of the SA-50 and makes many other IEMs sound a bit veiled. It's midrange too, has superior clarity and resolution. What the FIBAE 2 brings to the table is that raw excitement - like the shackles are off and it's time to party. The SA-50 has a ludicrously crisp and clean treble that doesn't excite the same way as the FIBUE 2 but will amaze you with its clarity and extension.

I agree on reviews being taxing and taking some of the pleasure away. This is why I do only succinct reviews, straight to the point and less professional and detailed than you guys, and only once on a blue moon. I prefer to chill and listen to music.
I guess I am odd, but I like listening critically. It probably has to do with the fact that I use music to focus my hyperactive brain and music is one of the few things where I can be completely absorbed in it and all distractions fade away. Critical listening sort of becomes natural part of that. Plus, I love writing and so gathering all my thoughts in a review is a lot of fun for me.
This being said, if you are like me and want try everything, you kinda need to do some reviews, otherwise you have to buy everything...
Absolutely this! This is why I review. I want to hear it all and I can't afford to buy too much gear. So reviewing helps because it becomes a lot easier to borrow a demo pair for a longer time (preferable over a short show-floor demo) and of course review samples are great, although I am very selective what I will accept.
Get the Eos while you can guys. It's an excellent cable! It's what I originally thought Ares II+ would be until I read it was very bassy. Eos is basically an Ares II with that extra air and transparency. Good stuff.
This is such a shame. I am still not entirely sure what happened, but it must have been bitterly disappointing for both EA and MS.
But the $20-$100 stuff, oy vey, some are outright terrible but I don't have the heart to give one-star and tell the rep "here's your review". Some top reviewers have handled this delicately before
I still have very fond memories of reading the tag-team Dodocool reviews of @ryanjsoo and @PinkyPowers. Highly recommended if you want to see a reviewer handle it delicately and one with a "here's your effin' review and never dare waste my time again"-approach. (Guess who wrote what!) :D

The thing about price and preference, they're not very relative to one another IMO.
Absolutely, (C)IEMs should first and foremost fit personal preferences. As much as I hear at whatever price point, I never mind coming back to my Ei.3 because they fit my preferences so well. They are smooth, fun and thoroughly engaging, with just the sort of holographic stage that helps immerse me in my music.

Of course I will soon move into TOTL and there I hope to find another pair that fits my specific criteria (differing slightly from my Ei.3) and gives me years of happy listening. Those two (the Ei.3 and the TOTL) will be my baseline and everything else will be out of interest and to add something with a specialised characteristic. But getting that baseline right is really important to me and price only matters after I have found something I like and need to see how many puppies will be required for this particular negotiation. :D

Having a reference to come back to after hours of critical listening for a review has been the only thing keeping me sane. :D

Save for the price tag, I'm quite excited for the HD820 release as well.
