Fantastic Tuning, very detailed, very coherent, very analog...
oh Man, very happy for you! They're worth every penny! i love the Cohesiveness and the timbre! i'm a vinyl junkie, this should be in my collection...Rai Penta are my favorites , I love them!
It seems lately that everything that is not screaming I am here , listen to my self imposing ultra detailed and bright sound , is heavily underrated.Unfortunately, it is underrated. Also, there's the whole thing about it actually being a reshelled Fidue Sirius A91 (therefore an "old" IEM), but all I know is it's a great IEM with a natural & smooth tonality. I've waffled a few times on selling mine, but always ended up keeping them after listening to them again.

No more of that, please. I don't want to want a headphone that expensive. Since I already like the Pentas and Solos, the odds are high I'd like the Empyrean, too. This is End of Game level tuning
i auditioned Sennheisers hd800s, Beyer T5P 2g, even stellias - properly driven
The Empyreans are something else altogether
Very clean, very neutral, very detailed, fast, large notes, large immersive sound field...
i auditioned this, too. Sure, similar. But more clarity goes to the Rai Penta.Unfortunately, it is underrated. If you decide you like your new Rai Pentas better, you can send your Empyreans to me. I'll give them a good home.I now got a pair of Rai Pentas incoming, with custom earTips and my Norne Silvergarde S4.
Let's see if they convince me as much as the Empyrean
Haha, that won't happen. If you decide you like your new Rai Pentas better, you can send your Empyreans to me. I'll give them a good home.
Ok you if you don't like the Rai Penta then I'll give them a good homeHaha, that won't happen.
Not gonna part ways with the Empyrean
It is quite a while since I compared the Penta to the Shure 846 (and to a lot of other IEMs). I do not remember any more the details, but the Shure went quickly to the sorted out heap - it did not have soundstage compared to the Penta.I now got a pair of Rai Pentas incoming, with custom earTips and my Norne Silvergarde S4.
