Sad that my pre-order with additional expedited delivery is going to probably come later than people who ordered from musicteck.

Yep, took 2 days to get it from musakteck. Andrew has easy returns too. I feel your pain.
If you want I'll post more pics of mine if it helps

I guess I should research this stuff.

Again, I don't see this pic on our website or facebook. I do suppose it is being used in the Hong Kong distributor's page though (Thinking Group)Umm, even your 'HQ' is doing deceptive advertising then: https://imgur.com/a/jQcYDTP (doesn't contain a disclaimer that it's only a render, not the actual product - as required by (Australian) law anyway).
Well yes as 'lie' it does go far - it's deceit (again, might be different in China, but this would constitute https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/misleading-claims-advertising/false-or-misleading-claims )
If you look through our website or facebook there are dozens of pictures and renders and none have the extended lip shown in your pic.

Does it happen after you paused for a few seconds? That would be the amplifier switching off (and on again when you start playing). I suppose the transition could be made a bit less noticeable but I also don't suppose the current behaviour would be regarded as a bug.Joe, can you report the pops after pausing a song, and exiting out of music players. And the fast charging not working.
What happens to fast charging?

The pop or click happens maybe a second after pausing a song or closing hiby or neutron- sometimes opening hiby music or neutron. No noise when starting a track. I was thinking it might be the amp, but it would be great if it was less noticeable.
When I try my fast charger, it goes red for about 2 seconds then goes blue and stays blue, but it doesn't charge.

Thats fast charger IMO
It fast charges my phone
Issue note for Hiby R5 and USB Audio Player Pro app with direct hires driver:
Playing in both offline files and Tidal Hifi in UAPP app will cause "tick" sound after playing for a while. Not sure it should be marked as UAAP app issue or Hiby R5 issue but anyway just let you guys know.
Also using Neutron app with extreme quality, like using 64bit processing + audiophile quality give me enormously enjoyable sound from 4.4mm balanced jack, impressived but... battery last for around 4 hours from 100% which is understandable. Use the DAP as hard as you can to get the best out of it!
