I mean I would like to know how'd the mojo 2 as a dac and 18p as an amp combo-ed together to see if the 18p can be improved further with an external dac.
Analog in is limited to 32(float)/48Khz. It's an ADC function, so there's no chance sound is improved by an external DAC.

So it looks as if UAC 1 for audio using the CMA18 Portable isn't an option.. But I can confirm it sounds very atmospheric with the Legend Evo over Bluetooth.

Metroid Dread's soundtrack is sparse and murderous sounding... One of the few games were the soundtrack intensifies the feeling of danger.. I love this game and the CMA18 Portable.

Very nice ! Would you mind doing a quick comparison between the two ?
on a high level, I think the CMA18P has some better resolution, staging and imaging. It also sounds bigger with blacker background, I think. Gryphon is warmer and has rounder edges which is still a pleasant sound signature for me but I feel like CMA18P is a welcome change with some improved technicalities. I think I have also grown tired of the xbass/xspace schtick which was fun in the beginning but I rarely use it now.

This is only based on my listening with ie900 (my only pair of iems) which I think is a great pairing. I haven’t tried with full sized cans yet.
