I looked at this thread long ago but it has tons more since then. I decided to start from the beginning again and it was well worth it. There are some great setups here. It's really interesting to see what everyone is into, how creative and individualistic. Certainly a great place for ideas of all sorts. Keep'em coming!

I agree, Doc. This is one of my favorite threads on all of the internet. I am always interested in how people live their daily lives, their interests and hobbies, the stuff they accumulate (or lack thereof), etc.. Maybe the intrinsically small size of a headphone setup and the fact that it can be tucked into the corner of a room, or neatly placed on a desk incorporates our gear more into our lives, but I always find photos on this thread to be much more revealing and entertaining than those of, say, Audiogon. This thread has been both intensely interesting and truly inspiring.

Now to clean my room so I can add a photo of my own to this victorious chunk of the internet.

I was just looking through this thread, and I think this is my favourite set-up. Very, very classy and it looks very cosy. It looks like it would be a perfect place to read as well.

Thanks! The soundcard is connected with USB, through a powered USB-hub and a 5 meter extension cable

Well then maybe an LG 50" Plasma? I got one just this past Jan. for only $1299.00 CAD and that is 1080p. Look for end of line models and you can get good prices. You don't need 50" either, 46" is plenty big enough.
