Same here. Everyday I scour eBay for a decent deal on a vintage Dual or Thorens, yet everyday I end up purchasing something photography related instead. It's quite unfortunate because Grados, tubes, and vinyl together make for plenty of audio-magic, as I'm sure you know.

First sory about my english im form Argentina and i love this site.
Second:
I need your opinion about my future righ (keep in mind that here in Argentina the electronics cost two times more than the original USA price and 3.2 pesos ,local money, is equivalent to 1 dolar) ok here is my righ:

E-MU 0404 > through DIY pure silver cable > DIY headphone amplifier with all gold plated jacks (futurely all the cables gonna bee soldered directly on the amplifier including the one from the headphones for reduce distortion and noise ocasioned for the jacks) > Sennheiser HD555 (probably modded whit diy silver cable)
The total cost of all the righ is U$S400 or $1280(pesos)
Detailed price list:
HD555= U$S160
E-MU 0404= U$S150
DIY amplifier = U$S35
Cables= U$S55

PD: If anyone can post a similar list whit prices from USA, for reference, i been grateful.
