One of the D100 white balance settings is Auto. When I'm lazy that's what I do. It works well in most cases. Hopefully the D200 has the same type of setting. I almost always shoot raw as well, because even when setting the white balance to a preset, it isn't always right. It's the most common adjustment I make in post processing.

I'm shooting RAW+JPEG Fine on the D200, but unfortunately I don't have Nikon's RAW converter software installed yet, so all of my recent pictures are JPEG only. I can kind of see where some artifacts appear in the image (although not at 800X600 resolution), but overall I'm pleased with the JPEG's quality.

It also turns out that the D200 does indeed have an Auto-WB setting, I've just been too inept to find it.

Here's the Desk/Phones/EMU. My Zen is hiding somewhere. I casually listen to music on my desk chair.

Here is my ridiculously comfortable goodwill-couch. I mostly used it for passing out on.

And here's where I actively listen to my music. Gurtrude, my fantastic recliner, is the most comfortable chair in the hall. I can't fall asleep on my back either, so it is perfect for paying attention.

Haha, you did see that episode though, didn't you? It was actually featured in one episode.

I got the Kramer one from a friend and I think I bought the George one online somewhere.

The CD3000 rig is singing beautifully. The PPA's bass boost really helps to add authority/weight/punch to the CD3000 (unlike the Darkvoice THA-336i I tried, though that may be a result of the tubes I used). I see no reason to upgrade or really try any other headphone right now. I'm really satisfied with this rig. Right now I'm spending my money on buying more music CDs, and I'm going to start saving up for a speaker rig for next semester (getting an apartment with a few guys, so I'll hopefully have a little more leeway with speakers than in the dorm).
