I also own a Cowon S9 and Grados totaly rock with it. I really hope you listen to losless otherwise having good headphones defeats the point.
I had iGrado but I gave them to my sister. I found them unconfortable and too piercing at first. Compared with Sr80 iGrado has a bigger bass but somewhat less controled. If you can vent the drivers and dampen the magnet you will have a killer headset. Didnt try it myslef, Ive just done it on my SR80. Have a look around the wild wild web to see what i mean.
Koss Portapro are ok for the price. Nice sound and cheap enough to take with you in the shower.
