Rachmaninov : L'Île des morts op. 29 (Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France)



Seeing them play this piece wearing those black masks makes sound it even spookier than usual.

PS. M Frank should maybe cut down a bit on the cookies though.
He looks almost twice the size of the very young baby-faced man I saw him as live in Stockholm some years ago.

There was a Friday concert last night which is not available yet but when it is, I will post it.

I posted some of these before a few years back but I listen to them quite often, especially at night when winding down before knocking out some Z's

a great near-insane ninja cat playing this should be belong to real human art of mankind IMO. mr trifonov is fantastic. for me other piano players playing is just sleepy business job art.

Indeed Mr Pokemonn! Superb playing of a very difficult piece!

You must be looking forward to the Olympics this Summer over in your native Japan? It is a shame that you won't be able to go to it!
