There are some reviews but I haven't seen any photos of how would one actually wear this. I wonder how it looks/feels since the control pod is a bit big.
Despite it being large I have found that it is very light. It has been a comfortable fit.

Well, having decided that my IE80s with custom sleeves are too good to discard, and seeing that properly wire-free IEMs still have some way to go, I took the plunge on a PlusSound BT cable today. Just got to wait until the new year before they're built and shipped to me in the UK. Will update the thread with my thoughts once they arrive. :)

@B9Scrambler does your Bluetooth battery indicator actually ever show at 100% charged? Mine never shows more than 60% + I'm no way getting anywhere near 10 hours of battery. 8 at a push!
I have tested on IPhone and an Android phone, my battery level is always reported as 60% by the phone. No matter if it's fully charged or if I have used it for a few hours. I also only get 8 hours of battery time, even when I force the Bluetooth connection to use SBC audio codec.

Hi, just to update you as well, mine is also stuck on 60%. I'm using an iPhone X as a source. However I do get 9 hours (although this is not the case when I use it outdoors during subway commute) of playback on 40% volume and 8 hours if volume is 60% to 70% but nowhere near 10 hours or even more than 9 hours. My IEM is the Westone UMPro 50 (2017). Its just a minor annoyance that we can't gauge the actual battery life of the bluetooth device as it seems to be stuck at 60% all the way...

I have the same issue with the battery reporting 60% no matter what. It's kind of nice to know I'm not the only one, but still seems a bit off that it does that in the first place. I've never gotten the the 12 hours that they list on the website. I'm using them with Westone UM2 (reshelled by InEarz).

How long should it take to charge? Mine seems to take about 3-4 hours, which seems longer than I would expect.

Not an issue, but intentional. It is only there to indicate that it is turned on and paired with your device. The battery used is 60/100 of the board's battery capacity, thus why this is displayed. The only other indicator is when battery is low, it will display red battery and beep when it is time to charge.

Battery life can vary based on usage, music playback, codec used, etc. Charge time can also vary based on where the module is connected to.

iLounge.com has given our Exo bluetooth cable a 'RECOMMENDED' rating. Reviewer Guido Gabriele concludes, "The Plussound Exo looks great, with its high-quality materials and distinctly custom feel. Its price (especially after upgrades) may be surprising to those who have never shopped for custom audio cables, but we think this entry-level model easily justifies the cost. The Exo is a great example of what’s possible with a detachable cable and a little ingenuity."

Hmmm. Old thread, butjust got the poetic series custom bluetooth cable with silver plated copper - I understand there is some audio quality lost through BT. Doesn't sound as good as my wired Hybrid Series IEM cable from Forza Audioworks, also there is a pretty noticeable hissing. This is all through the Iphone XS BT which uses AAC encoding. I wonder how these will sound via aptX encoding, but right now I'm happy I can go wireless with my Empire Ears Athena VII CIEMs. Packaging is in black, but so is the lettering on the box.... hard to read. Other then that, good product. Not mind-blowing, but good.
