I am gonna preorder one. Since it have not listened to either. Can someone help me? The price difference is huge. I am using EX300ip and I like how quick they sound. Am I gonna get that much more going to the top model?

Sony emailed me and said it will not ship until March so I canceled it and will go with JR.com because I have a $50 gift card. They have both models available for preorder, Sony only had the EX1000. What right? So now I must decide which one.

hmmm. I have a feeling that if you get the 600s, youre always going to be wondering what the 1000s sound like if you aren't completely blown away by the 6's. Like if the highs aren't spectacular, you'll be like why didn't I just pony up for the big guns?
 
thats weird though, sony style says the 1000s are in stock shipping tomorrow (yesterday when i checked). maybe it just wasn't meant to be. What about the 800st's? haven't heard squat about them in a while. when are we going to see these stateside?

I emailed a dealer about the MDR7550 (MDR-EX800) but never got a response.

Sony Style site is crap! When I ordered mine it said it will ship 2/15/11. Got an email on 2/18/11 that said it won't ship until March 1, 2011. Called them about that and they have no idea when it will ship. The date shown is an estimate.

I was hoping someone here can save me some money by saying the ex1000 is not worth the high price.

Just got off the phone with JR.com. They will do $449 shipped for the EX1000. I just ordered it with them. Much better deal than Sony Style. Saved $50 and tax.

Ships on 3/9/11 so that should be nice.

Nice deal, calling JR is always worthwhile. I can see these getting closer and closer, bet the street price will drop faster than the W4s.

I too went for the ex 1000s , i boght the 600s from sony on madison ave in nyc , since i am from nj, but too them back . i had to get the big guns ex 1000s .i think they are worth the price diff. i have them for about 2 mon now and every day i like them more and more . now im just waiting for my ttvj slim in the mail !!!!! how do u like them? the 1000s?
