  don't know if it's a repost but there's a link for a non-stop loop of :

"White noise, pink noise, radio white noise, 20-20000 Hz frequency sweeps, 10-30000 Hz frequency sweeps, 20-200 Hz frequency sweeps, as well as a minute of silence in between each for a rest period"

so..can some one please explain this burn in phenomena to me? I graduated with an EE degree and took matter physics classes - and I don't understand one bit of logic behind this. Could someone point me towards the actual physics or any measured studies? I am very interested to learn what I have been missing out.

Thank you

Here's a download link to the Pink Noise - Niagra w/ 1.5 minute silence track I made. It's 195 MB and 19:22 long. It has volume changes also, so keep it at moderate listening levels before playing the track.

Thanks for keeping this link up some 3-4 years later.  Going to burn in DT990 Premium 32Ohms just got them tonight =)

I used pink noise on mi sennheiser hd 280 and this burn in process make them rumble in the bass. Before i was decided to sell them because the lack of bass was really boring.

Now i got a Pioneer HDJ X10, more than 200 hours of music and they didn't start to rumble in the bass, just a few hours of pink noise and the difference is really noticeble.

I use pink noise just at the listen volume and only for 15 min and then rest, i don't want to blow me loved cans.
