Yes! A killer combo, the Stax SRS001 works so well with my Calyx M. The pure EStat sound beats my Phonix in some aspect.

Did you find better replacement tips than the plastic tip that comes with the headset?

Yes, I found something that allowed me to achieve a more comfortable fit. It was a tip from some sports IEMs with special petals. They help to keep them in the ear better.
Otherwise, it was advice with a wide channel. They had to be carefully stretched, because the SR001's sound guide is larger than the standard one.
Once I also tried to do this even with Azla Xelastec. And I succeeded. However, the tip was pre-stretched - I used it for a long time on IEMs with a wide sound guide.
Although I also don't see a problem with using the headband. It is very light and not at all noticeable.

So, what's your thought on them? I remember you have the OGs so how do they compare? I think the only thing I heard that compares to them is the Atlas althought with a little less resolution but a LOT more fun.

I wonder how the Andromeda compares to more TOTL chifi IEMs like Xenns Top,Penon 10th or Oracle.

The new version is much better than the original Andromeda 2017. I still love it, but it's not as good as the new Emerald Sea. And as for the high-fidelity tops, even Andromeda 2017 is better than them, if you value quality and natural, not synthetic and spectacular sound.

My summer 2023 travelling toys ...
Those are rather worth to give a real try, though it can't reach the sound quality of the IER-M9 + Nayparm modded NW-WM1A by a significant margin.
I need some more time to really appreciate the Kiwi Ears Quintet, though they are really comfortable for my ears with large hole nozzle deeply inserted in my ear canals.
