So still can't seem to shake these right now because each and every time I put them back on they seem to tighten up more and more, I'm now good to say they are every bit as good as my old fave micro in the Rockets I let Bob know he literally knocked these right out the Park and have landed high up in the heavens (OK lets just go with bleachers)

Bought myself a Hiby R6 Gen iii dap to play with, absolutely no need for such a device as I have an iPhone/airpod pro 2’s/apple dongle dac but I had an itch that needed scratching after experimenting with a Hiby R3 Gen 2 and a Tempotec v3, first time using android and whilst it certainly ain’t apple ui smooth it’s decent enough in use (so far), managed to get it setup and all music services I use loaded from play store without the aid of a manual or looking online so I’m chuffed with that.
Does it sound any better than an apple dongle? , couldn’t say one way or another but the Hiby does have a very cool system wide suite of MSEB DSP suite of audio settings and also manual PEQ options so plenty of potential tweaks and loads of stuff to play with. Also has switchable class A and class AB mode which as far as I can tell makes absolutely sod all difference apart from class A drains the battery faster than class AB.
Quite impressed so far, I should receive my Kiwi Ears Singolo colab with Crinacle this week so I’ll be comparing them against the 7hz Zero 2.

Glad AK updated their UI...man, I owned many AKs and I got tired of the basically faded blue, black, grey and white color scheme that looked like a washed out Black and White tv most of the time. I hated it.
Hisenior Mega5EST joining me for work together with my cheap work dap Tempotec V3.

Love the fact that you can fit a planar set and a 245 mw USB dongle into a compact case that was meant for the good old RE400...

Thank-you! Well the ASOS+ is some of the best imaging thus far with the Penon 10th Anniversary. Needless to say the 10th is my favorite out of the 14 or something Penon/ISN IEMs I’ve heard. But the quality here that seals the deal is the midrange. Where maybe some would say the weakest link with the 10th is the mids.......but with this set-up you would never know such gossip exists. The ASOS+ does quite the number to push the mids up and out into focus, while at the same time nourishing a slightly darker and more real imaging than the original ASOS. So what we are left with is the midrange push of the WM1A (into ASOS+ density) and the 10th finding itself resulting to become almost perfect in the end? I don’t know, but this single combo is a keeper, somehow?
Beautiful ... and i bet it sounds amazing !
