I didn't think the VxV could sound any better from the RS6. But putting it through the B4-X was a totally different experience! I'm no pro audio reviewer, so I don't know how to describe what I heard. But everything seemed wider, with mids more forward and intimate, and maybe better instrument separation. It was just " chef's kiss".
Can't wait to try the Aune B1s that's on the way to me and see how it compares.

I haven’t posted anything in a long time now, so here I am again.
I just got this Sony NW-WM1A and it sounds wonderful.
I’m conducting my own and very unscientific tests on it and my other Walkmans. I left all my Walkmans with only the most recent songs I’ve bought, a total of 139 songs, and I’m going to listen to all the songs on each, one Walkman at a time, to determine how each sounds and which one I like more.
Listening is being done on a variety of IEMs: Sony IER-M7, IER-Z1R, XBA-Z5, Beyerdynamic Xelento. And full size cans Sony MDR-Z7.

So far I’m at track 117 on the first Walkman. Next one will be NW-ZX300.


I frankly don’t care which Walkman comes out on top, I’m just doing it for fun.
