I thought i'd rest my iPhone 4 and try something else. I've resurrected my iPod 20GB 4G and am enjoying it immensely into a JDS Labs BBcMOY V2.03 and my UM/1964Q customs.
Smooth, dynamic and powerful is how i'd describe it. The 4G Wolfson DAC still stands up well to other DAPs i've had. Considering the relatively low cost source/amp this combo is very pleasing.
 

 
 
 

 
 
The new JDS C421 portable amp should arrive in the next few weeks. I'll be teaming that up with a Rockboxed iPod 80GB 5.5G - should be interesting.

Sure, but I got quite a backlog at the moment. Fiio E6, Soundmagic E30, Brainwavz B2... maybe I should postpone them for the PFE.
