Netbook and Pro 750 (For Sale, XB700 on its way). 250gb HDD makes it a great little player. Close the top, leave the music going and run the cable out of my bag.

EDIT: Shoulda had Foobar on the screen instead. :D

Congrats on the XB700 purchase. I have both the 500 and 700 and really like my XB 700. I plan to grab the XB 1000 in the near future.

They're not better than the Pro 750, but they're just more fun. The XB series are some of my favorite headphones ever just because they're so ridiculous. I figured now would be the time to finally own a pair. I've borrowed them and auditioned them multiple times. I want the XB1000 pretty bad, but at their price point right now (and having just purchased an LCD 2)...not happening yet. They came back in stock at Amazon for $80 and I figured what the heck.

I'm not 100% clear on the details as I've never used or cared about AIFF...but now that Beatport offers it I will  be looking into it. I've always felt a little uneasy about paying twice the price to get WAV there which has no tags at all. AIFF seems like a good move, though I love how they say 'We almost did FLAC but didn't.'

EDIT: Head desk. They still charge double for lossless. Ugh.

Most people represent AIFF as lossless.

Example: http://www.beatportal.com/feed/item/aiff-now-available

well how about that! i never knew you could do lossless AIFF - not all AIFF's are lossless though are they?

learn something new every day...
