^ That's one fatass amp.

Eh, more like big boned or in this case big capped with lots of other audio goodies.  Besides it's the beautiful sound on the inside that counts.  Right?

That would be due to the 9.6V 800mah battery with recharging circuit and DC input in the back, and also the high quality Alsp RK27 volume pot.

And yes, it has absolutely wonderful sound.

EDIT:  Okay I had some fun with white backdrops, so let me repost...

Love the XM5. Plenty of power and very versatile. With the Grados many three mile smiles.

I WANT!!! How's the SQ on those MX W1's? I've had my eye on them for a while now..

Hi JP, the MX-W1 are not bad for wireless listening, certainly Kleer Technology is better than bluetooth.   But it has its limitation and dont expect to get audiophile quality.    Per charge is good for 6 hours and so if you are heavy user, it may be a problem.    They will be perfect if only Sennheiser build in a mic to answer calls.

dfkt, what attenuator is that?

Edit: I think it's a FiiO E6.

Yes, an E6. The Realtek in my netbook handles dynamic drivers perfectly fine, but it has a really high output impedance that doesn't work well with multi-armatures. The E6 cleans it up extremely nicely.
