when i see tiny little JH rigs like that i get that pang of.. "i should have gone with the 16's instead of the 3A..."   i keep reminding myself that the 3A will be worth it.

I think the 3A will be awesome. I want one  =) I loved my JH16s, almost perfect fo me, I said almost because I was getting aparking highs but with a lot of sibilance. The bass and the mids were bealtiful. Right now my 16s is receaving some changes and they will be sending it back to me this week.
I bought the iPod Nano 6G to use at the gym, but it sounds really good with the 16s, and it has a lot of power to drive the JH custom.
