It's the Kitsound KSDJ.
 
So far, so good - for 20 quid (~36 bucks) they sound really nice, all things considered. I don't know if they're a 100% clone/rebrand of the Sony V500DJ, or if they just copied the housing, but the Sony better do a lot more right for 2-3 times the price of the Kitsound.

Yes, it's exactly the same plug as the M50, including the 6.3mm screw-on.

If you're ever driving through the Dallas area, keep your eyes peeled. In the state of Texas it's actually legal to drive while wearing headphones, so lots of people have already seen me wearing the LCD-2s while driving.  It's no less safe than playing your car stereo too loudly to hear car horns or the sirens of emergency vehicles, and it's definitely less distracting than talking to someone on a cellphone or worse, texting someone.  But I haven't been seen on a park bench with the LCD-2's yet - it's too cold out!
