PSP 2 ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW! My im-590 replacement arrived today. The PSP is the only source I'll use them on, because they HISS out of everything else (could be burn-in considering I don't remember the previous one having this much hiss).
I'm thinking of picking up either Phonak Perfect Basses or RE0s (I remember dfkt saying something about no hiss on abi with S9+RE0/Phonaks). I also have an iPod Classic 160GB on the way, but since it also has a powerful amp (relative to the PSP) I think that they will hiss out of the iPod too.

Got a new carrying case for my gear. Its a Case Logic PHDC1 holding a J3, Ipod Touch and HippoVB (fitted with phonak ear guides and Shure Olives)...

and a nother new arrival...Fischer Audio Eterna...was supposed to be the reprod of the v1 but i have no idea how to deal, nor do I really care after the ordeal and wait to get these.

I finally bit the bullet and bought them. It was love at first listen. Although i do have them on a "burn in" process on recomendation from people on this, and the guy in the shop. I love them already.

I got my new Sansa Fuze+ (16GB) last week.
I filled it up, added a 16GB micro and got that 1/2 filled.
[mp3, wave and flac]
 
I've been listening w/o an amp and it sounds pretty good.
The Skullcandy Asim's have a nice full sound with a decent low end.
The SK's get plenty of power from the Fuze+
 I guess I'll take this setup when I'm traveling lite (I still need a case)
 
The cord has some memory, but it relaxes when you use it.
