Good occasion for starting to do a little DIY. Cable stuff is so easy that even I can do it.

To re-terminating that cable you would need a plier (f. ex. a needle-nose) or a scissor you don't care too much about, solder, soldering iron, and a plug.

I guess you could also ask f. ex. Lil' Knight, to make a suitable extension cable (female mini to angled mini)
