So far, it seems like a good fit. I've tried it with my V6's and my new PK1's. Granted, I only had my FiiO's (or unamped) to compare it with. The PK1's and definitely seem to get more "punch" with the D2 / Minibox combo. The V6's not as much, but still a noticeable difference.

I also tried using it with my Sansa Clip v1, and have not been as impressed with that - my FiiO's seem to be almost as good with the Clip. Still testing, however.....

You can buy H120s at ebay almost every day. It seems much harder to get H140s.

Today's set up... iPod nano 3rd gen that I found brand new on clearance at my local walmart a few days ago > fiio e5 > some jbl buds I had laying around.

Re: the fiio, I think it favors some phones much more than others. There seems to be a noticeable improvement with these JBL buds, but my Alessandro MS-1s, I didn't like at all. Haven't gotten to try my ety HF5 yet... maybe the sound would improve with a LOD? Or maybe a better amp
