my listening room speakers - the awesome Yamaha NS-2000 just sublime only bettered by my Diatone DS-5000 downstairs.

The above Yamahas are connected to a Sony TA-N7 VFET power amp with Sony TA-E88 pre and Yamaha GT-2000 turntable or Resolution Cantata as source.

Everything powered by p10 and all power cables are diy made by furutec fi-50.

Still getting to my optimum sound .. still ..

Looks like crap, but sounds godlike.

Even placed in the corner of a humble bedroom and without any room treatments or EQ yet, this speaker system destroys every headphone system I've heard, no matter how expensive. (Read through my profile to see that I've owned/heard a decent percentage of the most well-regarded high-end headphones.)

The original MSRP of everything was around five or six thousand, depending on whether you count the hard drive array. The main reason I got a high-end DAC before upgrading the speakers is because the ones I want next are $5,500. One step at a time, as they say...

Update: The speakers are now placed in a diagonal configuration, further away from me and firing down the room. It's even more impressive overall this way, but without room treatments, each placement causes its own acoustic issues.

This is my bedroom setup: Gumby multibit into WA22 and LCD3 (with a Liquid Carbon on standby). There's a Beaglebone Black behind it all that runs Roon Bridge and connects to my NAS.

Cardas Golden Reference interconnects and Moon Silver Dragon on the LCD3.

I'm curious, but what the two power cables are that coming from the HE-1 amp & the Dave?

Mm...both power cables are from Monitor Acoustics (Taiwan company). Plugged into a line conditioner (also Monitor Acoustics).
