My replacement X2's are starting to bleed again. Very faintly but I see little blotches. *sigh*

According to your posts I am starting to think that your skin secretions (perspiration, oil, etc) somehow have a chemical reaction with the earpad dye.
I never had this problem with mine.
2 solutions comes to mind:
washing the earpads by soaking the earpads completely in a mild soap or shampoo added water (cool or sligtly warm), leaving them there for some hours and then washing them by just pushing the earpads (not excessive, no twisting action, etc), then washing througly with freshwater and leave them dry. (never tried this, may be someone can chime-in and share his/her experience for washing). You may try this at your own risk though...
OR
getting the Brainwavz HM5 earpads and modding them as explained by a previous user.
Some have reported HM5 pads worsen the sound, so I would not recommend that. I wish Philips sold earpads though, earpads that tune the sound slightly. Like Oppo did with PM headphones.
