The Final Audio E5000 and Periodic Be are very similar in terms of sound-signature and they're basically the same price. What a coincidence..

Personally, I prefer the tuning of the Be to that of the Carbon for everyday use, however it will certainly be a matter of personal preference. For some genres, the Carbon sounds great so it might be complementary to other phones in one's collection.

Is there any actual picture of Carbon?

We just signed KS Distribution in the UK to deliver Periodic Audio through approximately 68 retailers nationwide. So it's going to be coming shortly to you! I'd expect lots of stock in 3 to 6 weeks!

The Periodic Be is a great value at $300, just saying. With certain tips it almost sounds as big as the Campfire Audio Atlas .. sometimes even bigger, especially with jazz. Periodic Be's intimate sound-stage makes each sound pop with impact and energy.
