I have the symbio orange tips and they almost completely take away any bass that the Be has to begin with. Notes become much more thin as well, but this might be because I'm not getting a good seal with them. They feel a bit stiff to me.
These are the exact tips I've been using after trying all the tips that came with the Be plus the symbio orange tips (spiral dots are on the way, and I could never get the spin-fit to fit).
While I could never get a secure fit with the Symbio due to the hardness, I then removed the foam cores and now they are one of the best-sealing tips I own.

Dan mentioned back in July that Carbon specs would be published in late August, and product released prior to RMAF (October 5-7).. has anyone heard anything..?
1. Splitter and 3.5mm jack reinforcement moved from a heavy metal shell to a high durometer molded rubber, and a thinner, limper cable
2. Grille to a plated, rather than painted, finish
3. Packaging made more attractive for shelf stocking
I think everyone needs to hear all of the periodic audio line up, they are perfect in all price category . The carbon should be at top looking at the price and I bet it is .B-)
Personally, I prefer the tuning of the Be to that of the Carbon for everyday use, however it will certainly be a matter of personal preference. For some genres, the Carbon sounds great so it might be complementary to other phones in one's collection.
