Pull the SD card from the back and take a look at the firmware files.  If you see PWDPL109.HEX you have it.

IIRC, you can also reboot it from the back power switch, press the initiation screen logo and check.

Yes, by rebooting I can tell I have 2.20 but it does not say IIRC, which 1xx release. I know it's not one of the beginning ones since 2.20 was out for awhile when I purchased my unit about May 10th.

The card has files on it.  The file that has changed is the PL file.

Didn't know there was memory card in there

I will check it. I wrote customer service asking if I should update when 109 first came out and there was much discussion here. Here's what they said "I would leave the version that was shipped with your DAC on it currently."

There isn't a card unless you bought one, downloaded firmware and unpacked it to the card.  The Bridge might come with one though.  For native MK2 DACs though no card was included.

If you press the logo during initialization it tells you the sub version as well in upper right hand side corner. e.g.: CPLD: 109

Got my hands on 2.4.1 today BUT it's not usable.  NativeX needs to be cycled to lock on and locking takes a good long time.  Also filter and phase no nothing so... back to 2.2.0.

I thought 2.4 had issues with upgraded MKI's. I don't have any issues with 2.41 and prefer it to 2.20 by quite a bit.

Well that's good news for when they sort it out to work properly for MKIs. :)

2.4.1 and 2.4.0 don't work on my 2.2.0 PWD2.  Both have static on USB in NativeX.  As well as the Filter and Phase just cycling without clicks, ie not working.

I seem to remember someone having this problem and the solution was to revert to an earlier fw such as 2.02 and then reload 2.14.
