Other high end IEM with detachable cable

Sony mdr-ex600 and 1000, sony 7550, sennheiser ie8, and the ue triple fi 10 all have detachable cables. I have owned all but the ex600 and 7550.

The best cables by far are on the sennheiser ie8. They are extremely durable and the ie8 sounds great.

Don't forget the UM3x RC.

Ex: the TF10 are $100-150 IEMS, mainly looking for what the SE535's cost. $400-600

The TF10s are good enough to compete with the more expensive IEMs.

TriFi10 are $400 earphones, plus it was already said, don't workout with expensive earphones. That's foolish.
On topic, I believe the SA6 have a detachable cable...

All my IEMs have survived long hours of the gym, jogging, ice skating and table tennis with no problems at all, whether or not they had removable cables. For the gym, EX1000s are great because the impact of your feet is less heard (due to less isolation), and because it has a chin slider. Also, two IEM cables are included, one long and and one short (which is good if you are scared of snapping the cable).

Aparently sweat isn't very good for Westones, if you considered them.

However, if you are concerned about the life of your IEMs, you might want to try ER4P, because some people seem to report the life of these phones to be over 10 years.
On the other hand, I don't think you should be judging which IEMs to buy based on the fact that they have a detachable cable.

The ergonomics suck and you can get a custom with the ER-4P/S/B driver for cheaper than the ER-4 itself.

I don't think he wanted customs.
