In your hopinions which are the best tips for traillii?
I appreciate the stock tips for the best mids and voices traillii can give, but against other tips the soundstage is less expansive.
Xelastec very good but voice are recessed and on high volume can be a bit stressful.
Just bought azla sedna earfit.
Any suggestion for the best balance sound for the bird?

@gianni60 @mico1964 I have AET07 and AET08 and are totally different from aroma tips, aroma said me are their custom tips and you can’t find on market.
Maybe they will sell them.
I asked them in September 2021

try the spinfit w1, I think it is pretty nice if you want better vocal and soundstage and a perfect fit as well, or otherwise, the new AZLA max is really interesting, the sound is more centralized also I can feel the bass more. These two are by far the most comfortable ear tips I had tried.

I'm not home but my Azla MAX were delivered over the weekend, looking forward to trying when I get home tomorrow.
i think you will prefer them over the spiral dots for sound. But comfort wise spiral dots ++ is by far the best I've tried

I found perfect for me the tips that come with Aroma Jewel
I ise the mid size for Jewel and the bigger for Traillii
Sound very goid and atay perfect in my ears
Someone know which tips are?
Acoustunes, but they have newer tips, the AEX series, very similar to the previous iteration but way more comfortable. Kind of like the jump of Spiral dots to the ++ version

Plenty of folks reported here that the FT “lifted a veil” from Traillii compared to the stock.
I would not call it a veil. I find them very close actually. So much so I did not feel it worth it to go for First Times over the 1960’s ( this is based on already owning the 1960’s, not a new purchase). The Orpheus is much more of a difference. If the Venom will make that much of a notable difference for the good, it is a steal.

I think the First Times Shielding makes a noticeable difference in sound quality to me. So much so that I am looking to buy another one to pair with Traillii and Traillii is moving up in my rankings because of it. Not sure how much, but definitely rising.

Also, I never heard a veil on Traillii. Maybe we are defining it differently. If a cable makes an IEM more revealing, that doesn't mean that it was veiled before it. It just means that the new set up is more revealing. That's one of the benefits I hear from the FT Shielding.

It's almost weekend and I know he's pretty busy but there's the possibility @twister6 might compare both soon ... 🤔

yes, Monday is almost close to the weekend :p Oh, how I wish!!! I did compare First Times and stock 1960 relative to the Bird back in my FT review :) And also had some notes relative to Orpheus, or maybe reference to Orpheus was in my Centurion review. But, at that time I was going by memory and some old notes cause I only had Orpheus on loan from Musicteck for a short while. Sorry.

Only 4 days to go ... 🤣
My bad thought you still had one
Well someone else will chime in hopefully ... 🤷

I was able to try both Venom and Ode to Laura at Canjam on Saturday. I wasn’t able to spend much time with Venom, but I would agree with your assessment of Laura.

Laura and Traillii was utterly epic - I have forgotten the chap's name who leant me his Traillii late on Sunday - if he sees this, thank you!

So, will you buy Traillii again now?!

Awesome, definitely a pleasure to meet you!

Nope, a cable which is almost the same price as the iem, no way. Plus it is still an uncomfortable iem. Plus Storm is definitely better than traillii vs the combined price of the Bird and Laura. Too many caveats :)

I think for my all BA, I may get the U12t

Looking forward to your impressions of Storm, I think...

I still love Traillii, even with the addition of Jewel - very complementary sets. Spiral Dot++ in medium have been fantastic for me on the bird, very comfortable and zero pressure.

U12t always gets high praise, one I'd still love to try!

I really need more time with the Storm - it's a very competent IEM, going for a more reference sound, very effortless in delivery. Great dynamics, good soundstage and central imaging. I just don't think I want that from a TOTL IEM, especially one so expensive. I prefer my TOTLs to be a little specialist, to wow me on certain aspects.

Plus the elephant in the room is I have not tried the Jewel, and that is needed to know relatively how things stack up.
