A few examples of cases I use for Ori.
OMG! These are Oriolus tips. May I ask where you bought them?I liked the Sedna Earfit lights. Good, balanced sound, but not quite large enough for my wide ear canals. Ultimately, it's come down to finding large enough tips that give me a good seal, and the stocks are the best for that. I'd give anything for a company to make 15mm wide tips!
Here's a few that I've tried. Lights, Acoustones, and Crystals worked best for me other than stock. IMO
Took me forever to find them but aaf-evo directed me to this link. $15 but shipping was expensive and they took a month and a half to reach me in the states. They seem to be exactly the same as stock. I was so happy to at least find a source for them!OMG! These are Oriolus tips. May I ask where you bought them?
I understand they are similar to stock Traillii?
The AZLA max is super comfortable, also don’t miss out the Spinfit w1! Really good fit as well. Must try !You are missing Azla SednaEarfit MAX Just got those in, gotta test it, though I think their built-in flexible waxguard might be more beneficial as a "filter" for Jewel, rather than the Bird. Will check it out and let everybody know soon.

AzlaSednaShortLights work best for me. Whichever tip fits you best will be your best bet.In your hopinions which are the best tips for traillii?
I appreciate the stock tips for the best mids and voices traillii can give, but against other tips the soundstage is less expansive.
Xelastec very good but voice are recessed and on high volume can be a bit stressful.
Just bought azla sedna earfit.
Any suggestion for the best balance sound for the bird?
I was able to try both Venom and Ode to Laura at Canjam on Saturday. I wasn’t able to spend much time with Venom, but I would agree with your assessment of Laura.Got asked a couple of times to compare Venom vs. Traillii, so I think I will also cross post here.
I am still in the middle of comparing the two cables with Traillii, but my short impression so far is that these two cables are very different. Venom really goes for the “uncolored” signature and focuses on giving a fast presentation. Laura gives you that typical copper cable flavor (kinda warmish with good texture). Both are very nice in terms of detail retrieval and giving a large stage. Venom seems to be better in the horizontal angle and Laura is more spherical. Neither cable is muddy in any sense, which is a big improvement from Traillii’s stock 1960 cable.
Edit: added pics of Venom + Traillii and Laura + Traillii.
First time I have heard the Traillii’s 1960’s cable described as muddy.Got asked a couple of times to compare Venom vs. Traillii, so I think I will also cross post here.

Plenty of folks reported here that the FT “lifted a veil” from Traillii compared to the stock.First time I have heard the Traillii’s 1960’s cable described as muddy.
Sounds like with Traillii, Venom might be a better "change of pace" cable than Laura, given that I use mine with the FT cable?Got asked a couple of times to compare Venom vs. Traillii, so I think I will also cross post here.

If you want to have a change in flavor, then definitely give Venom a try. Two things I still want to call out: (1) the cable has a rubbery feeling although it is not heavy; (2) it is rather “uncolored” so it may or may not work with one’s taste, but as I said it could be good for a flavor change with Traillii.Sounds like with Traillii, Venom might be a better "change of pace" cable than Laura, given that I use mine with the FT cable?
I wouldn't call it muddy. I think it gives the Traillii a warm, analog flavor but still allows it enough detail and sparkle in the treble to make it quite an enjoyable pairing. The FT leans a touch more towards neutral, with a slightly tighter bass, more forward upper mids, and a bit more detailed treble. I actually enjoy both cables, but I'm also feeling like the choice of tips makes fairly nuanced changes to the Traillii sound to me as well. May just be because of the level of seal I'm getting with them.First time I have heard the Traillii’s 1960’s cable described as muddy.
