They arrived a day early! I ordered these the second day of CanJam Chicago, and it’s been a test of patience waiting for delivery ever since. @bluestorm1992 apologies for the copy, but I was totally smitten by your model and couldn’t find anything else that moved me. I put the Bird in the same category as my ZMF VOs in that they’re almost like heirloom pieces. I also felt the look was a tribute to the region of the world they come from, reminding me of my travels to greater Asia.

It’s been an R&B night so far, flashing back to my youth with Michael’s Off the Wall and Anita’s Rapture, and it all sounds fantastic. It might be a rough day at work tomorrow.

O God! Those faceplates again!

When I used the Solaris SE, I sold my pair to buy another one because the other one had a much nicer faceplate design.
And every time I see an Oriolus faceplate like this I think maybe I should do it again to get something so unique.

In general, I think if the representatives of the company are following this topic, they just have to release a limited series with such faceplates!)

You know the squig graph database? There's an equalizer tab there where you can use "autoEQ" to let the algorithm EQ an IEM to a reference target/IEM.

I just email Musicteck.

To give the full story, I saw that Oriolus had done that faceplate before on another of their IEM, so I had Musicteck reach out to them and see if they could also do it for Traillii. They agreed.

First couple of nights I stayed with the stock cable. I know there’s been mixed debate on it in thread, YMMV and all, but I remain impressed. I’m keeping it.

Something I’m coming to appreciate about the bird is how relatively small they are. Very comfortable sitting in my ears. Typically I prefer customs, but comparing the size of my custom Laylas to the Traillii leaves me amazed at how much technology is packed into such a small space.
