Do you mean Liquid Links Venom cable? Yeah, pretty good pair up with the Bird and Jewel. I did a brief review and a quick analysis of Venom pair up with both of these IEMs here.

I'm just waiting for this. Still not sure if it will be better than FT on Jewel or stock cable on Traillii. Will probably try it on u12t as my on the go pair. Perhaps my Iliad will be ok with Legend X, doubt anyone tried Iliad + LX yet

It’s not possible to change them, it’s when you order them that you can ask for a different shell. The one on the picture is a special one not in the “standard” list

I know this is the Traillii thread so I’ll be quick. I was on the Eletech UK tour and received the Iliad as part of the tour pack. I paired the Iliad with the LX. I thought it was similar to when I pair the LX with the 1950’s in that there was increased clarity and detail across the board. Both cables really open up the sound and for the most part I thought of them as quite similar. However, the main difference for me was whereas the 1950’s really tightened up the mid bass and gave more emphasis to the punch, I found that the Iliad seemed to be a lot lighter in that area and I thought the bass was dialled back just a bit too much. Of course that was my own findings and so YMMV.

I certainly hope they haven't closed. They are, IMHO, the absolute best value in the cable world. One of their silver models is in my top 5 cables with the likes of EA Horus 8. I think full retail was only $180 and I bought it on sale.

I’ll look it up in my records. I can never remember their models after I order…MS, RS, XS, etc. it’s not a traditional name like their newer cables are.
