i understand they were designed as an upgrade correct? should i be excited or were the a700s better?

I've had both and they are very similar. Basically, the 900's are just a linear all around upgrade to everything good about the 700's.

I think you should contact Amazon and let them know. It would be the honest thing to do.

There's a chance they might tell you to keep them, as well.

But it would be best to tell them. Even if you get to keep them, it could help them with inventory control.

If Amazon contacts you and asks, then tell them.
I would love me some A900s for the A700s price.
 
Hey, if you tell Amazon that their employee screwed up, he might get fired, so why would you want that to happen.

Did you look around the box or on the invoice to see if this was deliberate?   If not they will probably just charge your card for the difference if you approve it.
