Ok you are rooted you need to download a file explorer I am using Es file explorer you give it root access you open home Device system go to build prop look for
ro.product.manufacturer=O&P Innovations change O&P Innovations by  Meizu save it here you need root
after this go to home devices system etc  add a file name it audio_hifi.conf and the trick is to give it RW permissions in ES according to the pic and you should good to to go

Now using newest poweramp v3 704 with the hd support.
With my heir 10.0 and whiplash balanced cable, the new poweramp provides a much bigger sound stage compare to the stock player.
It's a blast to hear different sound with the dp-x1!

Balanced cable for my HE-560s comes today. Real excited. The standard 3.5 sounded OK but I'm pumped to hear what it sounds like with a the extra juice balanced supposedly provides.

Hello. Have tried today Tidal for the first time on my X1. And it is terrible. Terrible hiss. It sounds like an analog FM tuner... It is dead silent with the stock player and so terrible with offline Tidal. What's the problem?

It Works with CPU, but ALL the PROBLEM is here, all sofware other (PowerAmp, AIMP3, Foobar...)  that PLAYER STOCKdon't Works with DAC hardware but Only CPU, and Sound bad (noise background, no dynamic....).

Used tidal for over 8 months, no hiss. Should be other reason.

just a heads up, using poweramp (even the test version with the Meizu hack) If you go into sounds settings and turn OFF the EQ. TONE and LIMIT you will notice quite a change in the audio output. Makes it seem like its still using the qualcomm dac, for some reason. Not saying don't use it, as the amp section of the device is awesome even through the qualcomm dac, but it just seems that the stock music app is better in regards to the ESS DAC implementation.

Viper is awesome, but isn't it locked at 24/48...hence all those hi res files (24/92. 24/192 , DSD, and all in between) will be downsampled?

But the Problem is with XDp-100R Pioneer:
-Only STOP PLAYER use DAC HARDWARE (Sabre), all other players use CPU (Foobar/AIMP3/PowerAmp...)
I see BIG difference with my Shure SE535, at low Volume I have noise backround, no Dynbamic, qualité Average....
With Player Stock Super quality! xD
 
But majority users don't see difference between PowerAmp (in CPU Sofware Mod) and Stock Player (Hardware Mode)..... xD

I dont think "anyone" is sure at the moment on what DAC poweramp test beta is using :lol:...Just turn off the audio settings (to eliminate the stock poweramp boost), play one song back to back, in the STOCK app and then poweramp beta (with the meizu hack) and you will notice quite a large audio output difference.

Seems an odd issue on many levels. I too prefer poweramp as a front end, though

May-be other Players can't devellop Drivers specific, Manufacturer don't want Give Drivers at Other may be.... xD
 
 
I buy Android DAP for Choice my Sofware, but not possible..... xD
But no problem if the Player Works.... xD

May be it is a Good Choice because Pioneer and Other don't devellop a OS, so price is Better.... xD
They devellop ONLY Players....
On Other DAP a New OS is necessary, so Study, Cost,.... xD

Is only for dp-x1 !
if you flash this firmware, you will have Onkyo.
player, boot animation, update for Onkyo.
and will not be player pioneer.
