Weird. Last try - turn off Player app. If still drains, most probably faulty circuit. Sorry - I say for Onkyo.

Just wondering - has anyone experienced the loose jack issue on the newer batches of DP-X1's?
The new look is way better than the old one
I set variable line out, power has increased, but ok, I notice a very annoying voices in sibyl why?
thank you.
Can I ask, how to show the album artwork? Any standards to follow?
Onkyo's Music app has been updated.
WHAT'S NEW
[New function]
- Add "Artwork Mode" playback screen
*playback screen from the side menu.
- Support for ID3 tags embedded in WAV files
[Improvements]
- Fixed display for MQA playback
- Improve music playback stability
- Fixed other bugs
You mean sibilace, right? When s/z are annoying sharp?
By my opinion sound signature of native player it was tuned bringing up middle frequencies - and we got lack of sound image depth and sibilance. Only way to get rid of it - flat EQ or even drop down 8-10khz range.
One question for those who know more about the DP-X1. Can I uninstall the Onkyo Music Player app completely from my DP-X1 and then install it again? Maybe that will solve the problems I have with the originally pre-installed app. If so, how do I do that? If that is not possible, tell me how can I update the Onkyo music app to the new version? I go to the app but I don't see an option to update it? The Music app version I have is 1.2.1 (41). I don't know if that is the latest or not.
The Onkyo music app on my DP-X1 doesn't work for me. It did not copy the playlists from my Itunes library when I used the X-Dap to sync my music from my windows 10 PC. Since I have over 20,000 songs, I don't want to use the Onkyo music player app to find a song in my library. Having my Itunes playlists was very important to me. Thanks to the info on this forum, I was able to learn and find a solution.
I bought the iSyncr app for android and copied all my library to the external sd card on my DP-x1. Once I had the music there, I bought the Rocket player app and installed that on my Onkyo DP-x1. Now all my music is exactly the same as my Itunes library in my home PC. I did not have to use the X-dap program to copy my music from my PC to the DP-X1. The iSyncr did it beautifully and ten times faster than what it took to copy it using the X-dap. I also downloaded the Neutron app to my DP-X1 and now I have two music playing options. The Rocket player is easy to use. The Neutron a bit more complicated but better sound. I hope this information help other readers like me (not very knowledgeable about sound or expert in computer and electronics). I spent several hours reading this forum before I found these useful tips.
