Considering my experiences (2x) I would definitely recommend to by it from a local vendor that offers warranty. If I send mine back now, I will have paid about $200 just for shipping. And this time, I would only get it repaired from PriceJapan. Not worth it. As good as the audio quality is, the hardware has definitely issues.

Sorry im confused and this was probably already asked.Does this DP-X1 only have a balanced line out or does it also have a single ended 3.5mm line out.

it only takes 2.5mm balanced cable

So 3.5mm jack is for headphones only and the 2.5mm balanced is for line out.

I have been using x1 for the last few months without issue. Recently i getting my music sound with weird "rippling effect" like, i cant really describe but it definitely sound weird. To rectify the problem, i just stop n start again and the weird effect will disappear. Sometimes, i need to do it twice.
This is just a normal 16bit44.1kHz flac file. And when u replay the song, nothing happened. This had happened randomly for the last 2 weeks and on the music i have. Have anyone come across this, do i have to reset the firnware to elininmate this?

Happened to me with Tidal offline files. volume was going up for no reason and music started sounding weird. A DAP restart solved the issue. Interesting that when playing through Mojo there is absolutely no distorsion and that indicates a DAC chips driver issue.

Totally agree, Dignis craftsmanship is outstanding. Also got a case for my Mojo. DP-X1 and Mojo look stunning together Dignis clad. Wish they would make a case for my new B&O BeoPlay A1 bluetooth speaker...

Can I ask, how we can tell what batch we have ? My will be here Monday and will go over it with a fine Tooth Comb. Would like to know what batch I have.

Yes, that's the seller, I messed up one of the letters, corrected now. Yes, the first unit I bought from them got the issue after the third day. I bought that one back in the beginning of June.
