Hey guys,

I saw this classified for a 3rd generation iPod for $80. It isn't too used and the capacity is 20GB.

Do you think it's worth it?

I mean I already have an iPod 5.5gen 80GB but after seeing this one I thought I might buy the 3rd gen so that I don't use my 80Gb iPod too much cause I'd hate to see it die before its time.

Thanks

Could you please tell me if this works? Or are you going to use Rockbox?
I read quite often that the iPod classic 30GB has a 128GB limit.

So when you can have 2x128GB, then i think i will also go for the Dual SD Adapter :)

There is no limit for 5th gen iPod. It is just for 6th gen, but Rockbox can fix that.
My 256GB 5th 30GB mod was succesfull, now I need to put new housing and it will be done.

Definetly no. 3rd gen has only 8 hours battery life. And 5th gen iPods are cheap anyway. Especcially if You buy them with defects and repair.
