As far as batteries go, the listings on Aliexpress for larger size ipod ready batteries have dried up as well. I assume the supply is drying up as demand continues to fall.

The problem is most likely on shipping. As a battery alone in a package is almost always no longer allowed anymore. The last 1900Mah battery I ordered isn't getting through any shipping courier. The ebay seller already tried 3 different couriers and all 3 attempts failed. The problem is it cost them money for 3 lost package and he has to refund my money. No wonder, he is no longer shipping any batteries.

I do not know which one is better. I have heard that the 1900 is better. Also, I strongly recommend using a tarkan quad iflah adapter for micro sd cards. Of all the mentions I have seen with people stating their boards had failed, I was with regular sd cards and dual iflash adapters. It will cost a little more. I managed to get 12 128gb micro sd cards for around $35-$37 dollars each by keeping an eye out for used amazon warehouse micro sd cards.

Well this just in guys ! I recieved my Jet black face plate , black click wheel, jet back custom 256gb back plate,
1950mah battery and tarkan quad flash adaptor. Super Stoked , Im just awaiting my Rubycon Black gate 47uf audio cacitors x 2.

Skipping the bluetooth mod due to the signal issue's with the casing.
Will Order the KOKKIA i10s + aptX for bluetooth audio for use with airpods.

New to the forum but no to modding Ipods. Done a few with Tarken’s hdd upgrade in several 5g video and a 7th generation.

I’m trying to add Bluetooth into my personal 7.5gen but cannot seem to find the right hookups on the logic board.

Is it possible to do internal Bluetooth on a 7.5gen?

I had my 2°gen hard drive replaced with an 8gb ssd a while ago.
I should have got a larger one!

If I want to replace myself the 8gb with a 64gb one: is it hard or just a matter of disconnecting the 8gb one & replace it + format it (AOMEI)?
As a ref: The only thing I ever did myself on the mini is replace the battery. I can do that much.

I assume you mean you want to pop in a Compact Flash card? Yes, you can just swap them over. No adapters needed. I find the iPod minis are happier if you format the card before you put it into the iPod. Then just restore in iTunes and away you go!

Does anyone have any hard sources for thick backed iPod video headphone jack/hold switch assemblies in black (specifically in black)? I can find them up and down eBay in white but it seems like theyre impossible to find in black. I tried to get one for another model (a 6.5 I believe) but when it arrived it had the same curved edges on the switch and jack that the thin backed assemblies had.

For some unknown reason they are hard to find in black on their own. All the black ones I've had came from past purchases of old broken ipods. Maybe you'll have to buy an old ipod to get it from!
