I don't recall pricing mentioned before but it looks like Fujiya just announced a price of ¥40,000 (USD$392) for local Japan.

So, which one do you own? Where do you hear the kuro?

You can order it from pricejapan for around $525 all inclusive DHL shipping.

Hi bros, Where in Tokyo can I get the Ocharaku kuro or Sui? Thanks

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Sui from E-earphone in Akihabara (even 2nd hand ones) & Fujiya Avic in Nakano.

Kaede's sold out everywhere.

Never been to Ocharaku's Tea Shop but -maybe- he might have some Kaede's there?

I just wondered, how did you come up with your impressions.

I looked at the name "Kuro" =black and assumed it's darker sounding.

So have you ever heard it or do you own it? Or your comment was an assumption based on its name?

No I haven't heard it yet, yes it was a whimsical comment based on it's name.

In seriousness, the Kuro uses Magnesium-Copper alloy and Liquid Crystal Polymer to improve it's sound quality; or should I say more accurately... it's transparency - which I believe we can equate to a state of blackness, since transparency is ultimately a transitory state, defined in quality by it's deviation from colours.

I received the Kuro this morning from Price Japan. Let me just say that the last 15 hours have been the most fun I've had with headphones in over ten years.
