Here's another one of these (fake?) Philips DAP on Ali. Looks nice but too pricey ($210!!!).

I have a chinese xiaomi lamp made in collaboration with Philips. Philips is the only logo we see on it. It's possible that we have here a semi-authentic philips DAP focused for chinese market? who knows...

Great to read this. Glad I got mine.

The sound of AP60 Pro will have better SNR and channel separation than AP60II.

I think people would be talking more about the Z3 if they didn’t shut the Z2 thread down. Personally, I like it a lot. I changed the caps in it and now it’s got a better bottom end and a more clarity than the stock. I also think this may be a reason why people are not so enthusiastic about the Z3, because I didn’t sound as good as the Z2 imo. But now, I think it stands head to head running the Burson V5i and changed caps. Screen is a big plus and the song cut off is nearly nonexistent.
I am currently loving my Z3. I’ve got a new opamp on the way, and can’t wait to try it. Did you post your cap replacement? I would really like to know more.

I am curious, I know people would prefer a nice looking device, screen as well as sound quality, but why is no one talking about the Zishan Z3?

With a different op-amp, the Zishan Z3 sounds pretty good but I don't see anyone comparing it to other devices? (stock and with changed opamp)
Zishan Z3 is great, and a nice platform for modding too.
Shame I didn't have it in stock for more than couple of hours

I replaced my caps with the Nichicon BP 16v 100uf caps. They fit standing up and with careful placement, because it is a tight fit there. There is room between the opamp and battery if you want to put slightly larger caps in there with some wire leads. Sound wise, better low end and a bit more punchy energy with clarity.

Yes, but battery life will be impacted. The Walnut F1 or the Xduoo Xd-05 are probably the best options with the Xduoo having better battery life but at 4-5 times the cost of the walnut.
