Shenzchen Audio has a download on their website where I bought it but the other file maybe called RUIZU_A50.HEX isnt there. Its a nice little player alright.

didnt try uapp yet, tried the hiby app and lg stock music player same results, tried turning off hifi quad dac, same too. I think its just the way lg works with their eq.

Use poweramp if you want to use eq on the g7 or uapp for non eq. I also have a g7 so trust me poweramp has the best eq for it (do not have root so do not know if viper4android is better). Although if you still want something better take a look at the hidizs ap80 my friend has it and I compared it to the g7 it is better.

Is there any Cheap and good Daps with 4,4 mm balanced port? I have the LG G7 and the Fiio M11 but want something better than the G7 for cases when the M11 is too big to carry around. Something the size of the Shanling m0/ hidizs Ap80 would be perfect. Prefer neutrality in sound.

Well there probably aren't any 4,4mm balanced port in daps under 200 usd lol. So I change the question is there a general consensus of hidizs ap80 vs shanling m0 in terms of sound? I already tried my friend's ap80 and know it is better than my phone ( lg g7) but the shanling looks and has a better size for what I intend to use it for.

Im actually using poweramp all the time, still, the eq works badly, I believe its lg's implementation on the eq.

Have you activated the quad dac in lgs settings and chosen the hi res output?

Either something is wrong or you just don't like the g7s sound lol. Can you post a Pic on your eq?

I dont think something is wrong with my unit, like I said its how lg utilitize the eq settings to retain a distortion free audio, and yes I dont like the lg g7 was tuned, but everything else is great

I'm wondering if someone can recommend some rockboxable (I mainly need that parametric EQ!) DAPs? I already know about the AGPtek Rocker and the XDuoo X3, but I'm wondering if there are others that I should take a look at? Cheers m8s.
