just got the Velvet Wide Bore by Divinus on M/L. fits well without much effort.
so far bass and treble is similar to the double flange. it’s warm sounding with a touch less bass compared to the double flange.
the double flange fits me well and the other stock tips tend to be loose.

i want something which has a similar comfort but which doesn’t dampen the treble. looking for suggestions. closest are the xelastic 2 but they tend to narrow after the nozzle and are a tight fit.

on a separate note I have tested mostly on the below which is a great track for bass and vocals (at least for me)

I'm truly interested in the new model: Knight. Not only its price tag caught my attention but also the aluminum shells on such a pair of entry-level IEMs. Not many of reviews and graphs out there now to know if they fit my taste.

Just fired mine up. They really seem to shine in the midrange and treble not to say that the bass is lacking because it isn't. Build quality is typical Noble meaning superb. They are gorgeous - they also are quite large and the stems are longer than I am used (TWS mostly). No brainer for $289. That's what I spend at Starbucks in a month ... not really but you get my point.

I've read some recent reviews, people said their soundstage and separation weren't quite good. Is that true?

I think the reviews said that the soundstage was appropriate for the price and that they lean towards intimate. I'm am TWS guy so to my ears the soundstage is certainly impressive. TWS is not known for being able to create a wide soundstage however. I'm probably not the right person to comment given I have only started dabbling in wired IEMs. FWIW I recently had and sold the Dunu Braindance. I prefer the Knight. The Dunu were too bright and lean even though they cost 2x.

Which genres do you think Knight would shine the most in? I'm looking for something fun and thumping for RnB, Pop, Hiphop,...

Pop for sure. Not sure about Rnb and Hip-hop because there isn't a lot of subbass. For me, I listen to modern rock and these work really well for that. The midbass slam is really nice. Depends on how important subbass is to you.

I’m actually in the same boat as you. I think the last wired iem I bought was the ultimate ear triplefi which was a long time ago. Great when they came out, but they don’t compete with today’s tech. I usually only buy tws, but recently found a reason to buy a wired iem, so I’ve been looking around to find something with a similar sound as the Rex5. How does the Knight compare to the Rex5?
