The only difference between the damascus viking cable and the Ragnar Viking cable is the strand count. (The Ragnar = less than the viking). Also the damascus cable has damascus steel parts.

Don't let the price fool you. I have N8ii, DX320X with AMP14, LP6Ti and have some time with RS8 they are all in the same ballpark.

There is one special thing about DX320x with AMP14. It's had all those textures and body from tube while retain 99% if not all technicalities. Unlike N8ii in tube mode which sound tubier while took some technicalities away.

And all joys Ragnar gave me are from their technical performance (one of the highest resolution TOTL IEMs in the market if not the highest) while still have some hint of musical and all those technicalities strength came in classy way not forceful way.

With AMP14 all the technical advantage of Ragnar are there but with analog and beautiful texture to make them even more musical. Something very special. And as I got nearly all TOTLs UM Le Jardin, MM, Elysian X, Trailli, Mason FS and so on plus a lot of TOTL cables. AMP14 made Ragnar to be the best to my ears. The realism, the resolution, the holographic, the clarity and the musicality. Everything I ever need from best IEMs or headphones.

I use Ragnar with the CA1000T in hybrid mode (OP + TUBE-AMP). Simply fantastic!

I prefer Ragnar on the SP3000 vs WM1AM2. Bass is perhaps slightly more present on the Sony and the highs slightly recessed.
SP3000 really lets Ragnar shine in all its glory.

I can understand your sentiment. Although at first I would say the combination could become too lean and bright it is actually the combination that amplifies what Ragnar is great in already. And since you fell for that character already, more of what you love best certainly won't hurt.
